How to do peer observation of teaching: introduction

The guidelines provided here are intended as exactly such, to help you get started with peer observation of teaching, and are not meant to be seen as a rigid prescription. The principles are more important than the guidelines. Indeed, we would actively encourage local adaptation and refinement to take account of individuals, their teaching environments and subject specific teaching issues.

There is a separate section that gives an overview of peer observation issues.
