CPD for Learning and Teaching
CPD for learning and teaching can involve all kinds of configurations:
by yourself, for yourself, with colleagues, with students so you learn, so
they learn, skills, knowledge, understanding.
See the grid on the 'Who, what and how?' page for an overview of areas that might be developed and who might be involved in the process.
This includes formal CPD ('DIY' methods where we explore our
practice, and attending courses), and also embedded, 'everyday' CPD.
Experiential learning, eg through contributing to curriculum development
and critical reflection on this experience, enhances professional
expertise.
